In-studio and Home Pilates

 

A former student of the Australian Ballet School, I pivoted into teaching and have been guiding Pilates clients for the past 17 years. Finding true fulfillment in helping people overcome pain and injury, I connect with clients by guiding them through how their body works and help prevent injury in the future.

 

Need another reason to join in? Pilates is one of my go-to exercises that is a gentle, but effective, way to care for my body and mental health.

ONLINE PILATES TRIBE

Become part of our private Facebook group with 2 Live workouts each week and get the support you need to safely do Pilates at home.
Whether you've been doing Pilates for years, or you're a brand new beginner, I will aim to give variations to the exercises to cater to your needs.
The Live workouts mean you can ask questions and make comments as we go and I can reply in real time. 
If the time doesn't suit, you can also do the sessions at any time that is convenient to you as they will be saved to the page.
Using a set of our Pilates Resistance Bands is highly recommended, but not essential.

STUDIO PILATES

A small intimate studio located in Langwarrin, providing Classic Studio Pilates sessions. Sessions have small numbers enabling us to cater to each individuals needs. We will work with you to achieve a stronger, more flexible, balanced body as well as rehabilitate any injuries & help you achieve your goals.
Combining great value, top of the range equipment, personalised sessions as well as knowledgeable & experienced instructors, you can be sure you will get the most out of your Pilates sessions with us!

The Pilates Basement is a custom designed studio, built as part of our home, meaning we can keep costs down whilst keeping standards high. Our instructors are all fully qualified through the Australian Pilates Method. Association.

RESISTANCE BANDS

5 branded resistance bands of varying strengths, for your Pilates workouts at home and in a studio! Comes with a carry pouch to keep them safe and easily throw in the glove box or handbag to take to classes. BLUE set.

POST NATAL PILATES VIDEO

It's important to get the all clear from a physio before you resume abdominal exercises. However there are a few things you CAN do to help alleviate some of the common aches and pains you might be experiencing, without needing to use those abdominals.

WHO WE CATER FOR

At The Pilates Basement, we cater for any type of injury, fitness level, size, shape or age group. We have specialised Pilates equipment which allows us to modify or intensify any exercise to the individual's capability. Our instructors have all had extensive training & many years of experience to draw upon.
Some examples of the type of clients we are currently working with:
- Elite Athletes (including Ironman Triathletes, Cyclists and Runners)
- Pre and Post Natal Mothers (with specific equipment designed to accomodate pregnancy right up until full term)
- Both Male and Females (with many Husband/Wife clients)
- People with serious conditions such as Parkinson's and varying types of Arthritis
- As well as all types of Injury rehabilitation, both chronic and acute.
We welcome EVERYONE & look forward to educating each client on the best way to improve their physical wellbeing.
